Hi,
When updating world (emerge -u world), how to exclude ebuilds not wanted to be updated? Example, I don't want to update cups and mysql.

One approach would be to remove them from your world file, which is located in /var/cache/edb/world. _________________ For every higher wall, there is a taller ladder |

inject them
emerge -i catagory-name/package
Then when you want to build it, just emerge it. |

If I don't want to update the world but only few ebuilds with one command line, how to do? -- > emerge -u ebuild1, ebuild2, ebuild3 ???

Code: | emerge -u ebuild1 ebuild1 ebuild3 ... | Remove the commas from yours. |
