Hi,
I have a headless gentoo server that has always used mail-mta/nullmailer to send notifications via Gmail, but I got a message from Google saying "From May 30th you may lose access to apps that use less secure login technology" and suggests, for example, to use oauth 2.0 authentication in order to continue using the service. I understand that it is not possible to configure nullmailer with oauth. If true, what can I replace nullmailer with and continue to send notifications through Gmail (possibly avoiding complex MTAs to configure)?
Thanks |

Enable 2 factor authentication on your gmail account. Then create an app password (will be unique), use that as the password instead of your old gmail password in nullmailer. Continue as before. |
