Hi, ALL,
Accrding to this one needs mysql-config to build the program.
i just installed the connector, but surprisingly that config is not there.
What am I missing?

mysql_config (with an underscore instead of a hyphen) exists on my machine and it looks like it's indeed part of dev-db/mysql-connector-c .
Not sure what's the difference with the hyphen?

Just a suggestion since I was browsing the posts, "What do I need" isn't a very good subject.

Perhaps the answer is "OP needs a good subject line." 
OP: if the problem is solved, please update the subject line to mark the topic as solved. While there, you could rewrite the subject to be What am I missing to build mysql-connector-c?, How to build mysql-connector-c? or similar. |
