Hello, recently, I subscribed to an Netflix account, but when I would like to play a video on my computer, its doesn't work than on my phone. I had this error: https://zupimages.net/up/21/42/qfu8.png

I think maybe something in my configuration or in my useflag is missing, but what ?

Code:

Plz see
https://help.netflix.com/en/node/32661
Is your system arm64?
DRM does NOT work with arm64.

I don't use Netflix, but I think your problem is that you have eme-free enabled:
Code:
eme-free         : Disable EME (DRM plugin) cabability at build time

Do you have the widevine add-on enabled? You may also want the openH264 add-on.

Yes, look my first post, I already mentionned it, you can see my openh264 flag is enabled. And yes, the add on is enabled as well

In firefox settings general, is "Play DRM-controlled content" enabled?

In my experience, both Firefox and Firebox-bin do Netflix without any customization with default USE flags. I have no "content enabling" plugins installed.

Does it work if you use a blank Firefox profile, with no customizations? Does it work if you use the prebuilt blob supplied by the Mozilla project? Does Netflix support have anything helpful to say about this? The error message you showed was not particularly informative, so perhaps their support people will have something to add.

I think a codec, driver or something like that is missing definitively.

One thing stands out is your ambiguous keywords line:
Code:
ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="amd64 ~amd64"

If you want to run unstable, then just ~amd64 would be correct.

Running unstable (testing) is probably not your issue.

Rather than me trying to proofread your emerge --info, I'll share mine with you.
Code:
$ emerge --info

One thing stands out is your ambiguous keywords line:

If you want to run unstable, then just ~amd64 would be correct.

It's just the output of emerge --info, in my make.conf file, I have only ~amd64.

I'm lost for netflix ...
Is it possible for example it's because of some security settings of firefox I set up ?

Fulgurance, I notice the main difference between your setup and figueroa is that you are running hardened with SELinux.

I have minimal experience of it myself but it is worth check that SELinux is not killing widevine? I ask because I recently had issues in my day job with SELinux not allowing nginx to spawn Python wsgi processes because of over-strict policies.

Absolutely consider if security does not lead to dysfuntion.

Finally on chromium, netflix worked. Because I seen chrome-binary-plugins wasn't updated to the last version. But what about firefox ? What exactly chrome-binary-plugins provide exactly ? Is it possible for example I need to enable geckodriver or hwaccel useflag ?

Somebody can link me these useflag ? I think this problem come from ffmpeg maybe. Somebody can link me as well these ffmpeg useflag ?

In my case, chrome-binary-plugins are a dependency of the widevine USE flag for Vivaldi.

For Firefox I only have USE=-dbus set.
Code:
www-client/firefox-78.15.0:0/esr78::gentoo  USE="clang gmp-autoupdate openh264 system-av1 system-harfbuzz system-icu system-jpeg system-libevent system-libvpx system-webp -dbus -debug -eme-free -geckodriver -hardened -hwaccel -jack -lto -pgo -pulseaudio (-screencast) (-selinux) -wayland -wifi" L10N="-ach -af -an -ar -ast -az -be -bg -bn -br -bs -ca -ca-valencia -cak -cs -cy -da -de -dsb -el -en-CA -en-GB -eo -es-AR -es-CL -es-ES -es-MX -et -eu -fa -ff -fi -fr -fy -ga -gd -gl -gn -gu -he -hi -hr -hsb -hu -hy -ia -id -is -it -ja -ka -kab -kk -km -kn -ko -lij -lt -lv -mk -mr -ms -my -nb -ne -nl -nn -oc -pa -pl -pt-BR -pt-PT -rm -ro -ru -si -sk -sl -son -sq -sr -sv -ta -te -th -tl -tr -trs -uk -ur -uz -vi -xh -zh-CN -zh-TW"

For ffmpeg I only have USE=chromium set.
Code:

google-chrome ships with the widevine plugin (used for playback of some protected content) which is missing for chromium and other chromium-based browsers, so chrome-binary-plugins downloads google-chrome (whole thing) and installs only that plugin.

firefox can't use that, and instead download/update its own widevine plugin at runtime in your profile directory (assuming you don't block that). It should generally just work last I checked firefox (fwiw it breaks if seccomp is disabled in the kernel, but firefox ebuild would warn about this if you did).
