I've let "unsymlink-lib --migrate" running for over 30 minutes now and still no progress.
How long does this normally take on a 32GB DDR4 AMD Threadrippper?
This is in a chrooted gentoo I use for building packages before using -k on my main non-chroot gentoo.
Update: I found more info and ran a strace -p command and see it still going, abit very slow going though all the wine libs.
Update two: Failed due to running out of space. I had 60GB free before starting. --forced-rollback worked thank goodness. |

I recall it's a lot of disk IO indeed. The machines I've upgraded they weren't too bad, it's mostly moving files around unlike the rebuilds needed for multilib. Indeed the migration did use a lot of disk space for the temporary files to make sure it's easily revertable, I recall it using quite a bit until the finalize. _________________ Intel Core i7 2700K/Radeon R7 250/24GB DDR3/256GB SSD
