While working on hardened profiles I noticed that the Hardened Wiki page (be it in English or French) has been obsolete for about 4 years now: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Hardened_Gentoo
I know the Wiki is not updated quite as regularly as the Handbook is, yet it starts where the Handbook ends.
On the Hardened wiki page you are notably invited to "install hardened kernel sources, so that the kernel will *manage your running system* in a hardened way (especially using PaX)":

yet these ebuilds were retired in 2017 as explained in enews (https://www.gentoo.org/support/news-items/2017-08-19-hardened-sources-removal.html)
I would suggest a clean-up. This obsolete piece of information cost me a couple of hours before I found the snag. |

The Wiki is mostly a community maintained resource.
You can create an account and fix it.
