Hallo zusammen,
ich habe bis jetzt auf 4 Gentoo-unstable (systemd)-Installationen ein Update durchgeführt.
kdeframeworks ist an der Reihe, und zwar in stable und unstable.
In der Paket-Sammlung taucht libreoffice-7.1.6.2 auf.
In allen vier genannten Installationen ist die Installation von libreoffice gescheitert.
Nun frage ich mich, was da los ist, denn die vorherige Version wurde vollkommen problemlos installiert,
die neueste aber nicht.

Leider kann ich die build.log nicht liefern, weil die riesig ist und hier nicht angenommen wird.
Wo liegt das Problem?

Hi Manfred,
puh, ohne build.log oder zumindest die Fehlermeldung bereitzustellen kann man eigentlich nur wild raten (und auch mal im Bugzilla schauen).
Wild geraten könnte es eventuell an der neuen testing sys-devel/bison-3.8.1 Version liegen, siehe zb auch im Bug 812923 |

Ich kann wieder nur sagen: wenn du nicht hier wärst, würde ich wohl nicht so schnell zur Lösung gelangen.
Da die vorherige Version von libreoffice kein Problem gemacht hat, liegt es wohl genau an diesem Update von bison.
Lösung könnte/sollte sein: die vorherige Version von bison installieren....?
Vielen herzlichen Dank für diesen Hinweis. Ich werde es gleich testen.

Es hat geklappt. libreoffice ist installiert.
Tausend Dank für diesen Hinweis. Ich muss also bei solchen Problemen immer wieder an Bug denken,
denn da könnte das Problem beschrieben sein.
Wieder etwas dazugelernt.

Hm, das Handbuch ist die Beschreibung eines möglichen wegs, aber sicherlich nicht die einzige Wahrheit. Ich hatte Gentoo immer so verstanden, dass es einen ziemlich viele Wahlmöglichkeiten gibt und man die auch wahrnehmen kann.... |

Heute habe ich die Bestätigung erhalten.
Wie bin ich vorgegangen?
binpkgs wurden beim ersten Update gebildet inklusive libreoffice
Bei der nächsten Installation habe ich
emerge -avuDU -k @world eingegeben.
Daraufhin wurden etwa 80 Pakete installiert (binpkgs),
Danach - um sicher zu gehen, daß alle Updates durchgelaufen sind -
emerge -avuDU @world
Folgende Pakete mussten noch installiert werden:
