America's Army is definitely closed-source. In fact, the source is actually tightly controlled by the United States Army.

That sucks. It's publicly funded too. Glad I joined the Marines. They would go Open Source for sure. |

I bet you there are at least 3 seperate, completely unrelated and unconnected code bases for AA, one for each major branch of the military. I also bet that they are the exact same game. _________________ Windows, Linux, whatever. |

The marine corps is the step child of US military. They could never afford such a publicity stunt.

Isn't the unreal engine the quake engine? They use .pk3 which are, I think, related to the quake engine. |
