Hi, ALL,
I am about to install KDE on my laptop.
I don't have a printer and so turned cups off globally - inside make.conf .
However turns out kde-meta is requiring cups.
I traced it down to asking dev-qt/qtprintsupport somewhere.
Is there a way to turn printing off even for KDE/Qt?
Thank you. |

It doesn't seem possible because plasma-desktop/plasma-desktop and plasma-workspace/plasma-workspace have dev-qt/qtprintsupport as direct dependency, as well as many kde-apps _________________ Questions are guaranteed in life; Answers aren't. |

Hi,
Someone familiar with Portage and python needs to make that split.
Thank you for non-confirmation. |
