Hallo,
ich habe ein kleines Problem und bin von der Doku vom XFree86 nur noch verwirrt :
Vorgeschichte: Ich will 2 Monitore an meinem Rechner mit 2 Grafikkarten anschließen. Nach längerem rumkonfigurieren habe ich das auch hinbekommen. Die eine Grafikkarte ist eine GeForce2 und das andere eine ATi WinCharger (mach64 Chip).
Die GeForce läuft mit dem nvidia Triber und die ATi läuft z.Zt. auf "vesa", was mir nicht gefällt. Ich habe also gegoogelt und herausgefunden, dass diese Karte eigentlich mit Driver "ati" laufen soll. Wenn ich diesen jedoch reinschreibe wird sie nicht angesprochen, bzw steht in der Log von X, dass er eben einige Chips durchprobiert und nicht den passenden findet. Da fängt das mysteriöse aber auch an:
In der Log stehen also die Chipsets, die er testet: mach128 und radeon. Laut Doku sollte der Treiber aber nur mach8,16 und mach64 durchgehen, diese hat er gar nicht drin!

Kein "ati" Treiber aufgeführt
Meine Idee, vielleicht würde er rausgeschmissen in 4.3, jedoch:

Nun meine Frage, hat zufällig irgendwer eine mach64 Karte mit X 4.3 laufen? Oder kann mir sagen, wieso ich so verwirrt bin (oder mich in der Vermutung bestätigen, dass ein Fehler in der Doku vorliegt)
Mein Gentoo hat XFree86 4.3.0

Der richtige Driver ist nicht ati sondern mach64
ATI Rage /Rage II / Rage Pro / Rage XT -> mach64
ATI Rage 128 / Rage 128 Pro -> ati
ATI Radeon / 7x00 / 8500 / 9x00 -> radeon
ATI Radeon 9500 und neuer -> nur mit fglrx (ATI-Binärtriber) oder VESA

Kann nicht sein, weil er mir da immer sagt, dass er den Treiber nicht finden würde (ich hatte das schonmal probiert) und dazu sind nur folgende Treiber im entsprechenden Verzeichnis:
