And now for a more serious answer: The devmanual started as a means to collect development-related guidelines (not policies) into a single place. Since then, it's grown to be accepted as a canon piece of directive. The line you pasted, hasn't been changed since the devmanual was first spawned. While it should, it's also true even now devmanual holds some outdated info. So... |
