Hi guys, this week I buy a new computer and get a problem with GUI in gentoo, when I run "xinit" or "startx", the xdm has oppend but the computer has freeze, is not possible change to another tty or turn off using ctrl+alt+shift+ printscreen,p,o. How I resolve this problem?

I using ryzen 9 5900x, rtx 3060

any chance to get the x-server log from /var/log?

With startx, the Xorg.0.log should be found at: ~/.local/share/xorg

didn't know that, thx.

I still have one in /var/log but the timestamp says one year ago.

Users who run suid X write under /var/log. Users who use logind-based no-suid X write under $HOME.
