I resolved this by upgrading glibc to ~arch or/and rebuilding binutils.
But this is abnormal ebuild behavior.
The Makefile of of stable "cmake" having references to unstable "glibc"....
I am opening a bug report.

Did you mix anything on that new install? Like binpkgs that were built with a newer glibc, copied files over, or anything you can think of (I see you already have a few overlays, I suspect you've done things with it).

This would happen if you had a package built with glibc-2.33 (that used those versioned symbols) and tried to link in its libraries using glibc-2.32 (aka effectively a glibc downgrade, which is not supported and not a bug unless the stage3 itself "somehow" had wrong files), this kind of stuff also happen with GLIBCXX symbol errors if you downgrade GCC for libstdc++ using packages.

Ionen,
Yes maybe a few binpkgs installed with "-k"(--usepkg).
You are a life savior.
:)
But would not portage be smart enough to install appropriately?
I didnt force anything....
How should I find these binpkgs installed?
is it
Code:

eix -I --binary

?
It returns nothing in my case.
binpkgs is a recipe for disaster.
Apparently..

Binary packages are fine, if you use them consistently. If you mix binary packages from a remote host with locally built packages using different versions, then you can get in trouble. Ideally, yes, Portage should keep you out of this, but in practice, there are many ways to do this wrong, and you would need to have special handling for all of them. Some of them may only be solvable by Portage if it takes an aggressive approach of disallowing potentially unsafe things because it cannot prove them to be safe.

No I want no part in binpkgs anymore.
Once burnt......
Thanks again both for your help.
I mark this as solved...
