I'm going to be dual booting multiple installations of linux for a while, and would like to skimp on some hard drive space... can I use the same swap partition for both of them? |

I share swap partitions between RedHat 7.2 and Gentoo (not at the same time, of course ) without any problems. |

The swap format changed in kernel version 2.1.117, but AFAIK the new kernels can still use the old format, so I can't think of any reason it wouldn't work. _________________ I don't believe in witty sigs. |
