A long time ago when AMD64 was new, this forum was created to separate amd64 64 bit specific topics for the more everyday 32 bit topics.
Times have changed, AMD/Intel 32 bit installs are becoming rarer and for a long time now amd64 has become the norm.

Indeed more packages have the amd64 keyword than x86 now.

This forum is therefore no longer serving its intended purpose and has been made read only.
