mozilla - plugin downloader plugin

mozilla asks for a plugin downloader plugin... i did a search for this everywhere,, seems alot of peopl have this problem but know one knows where to get this mysterious plugin, then i found out that this is the "null plugin" in the plugin dir, the last time installed mozilla it was infact there and there was no such problems,, however since then ive clean installed(due to an unrelated hardware issue) and now when i emerge mozilla the null plugin is no where to be found... other strage things ahave been happeninig as well such as the missin | while im typing (this very message in fact!) and copy/cut paste is broken... i read elsewhere that this could be a compile issue, however remerging and or removing asm patches dont seem to help... any assistance is greatly apreciated....

can someon post their libnullplugin somewhere? this is the file thats missing form my /usr/lib/mozilla/plugin dir thats causing the truoble i think., i tried copying it form netscape 4 but it doesnt work, must be a diff version or somhthing.

scratch that, i just tried it, mozilla was able to recognize teh null plugin but not the others...

looks like a gcc3 bug... compiling wit gcc2.95 works fine,,, all plugins are there and no weirdness with text boxes and copy/cut and paste
