I don't really know where to put this, it is powerpc related. I am trying to see if there is a way to get sysbench compiled on 32bit powerpc.
I managed to get concurrencykit compiled, and the configure gives an option to use system-ck and system-luajit.
However, when compiling, it throws an error due to undefined reference to `__sync_val_compare_and_swap_8'.
I read this is related to GCC atomic builtins, and that it inlines new code in place of that.
I was wondering if anyone knew if these worked on powerpc and I just have some broken USE flags, or if I am just out of luck? |

For amd64:

You could try seeing what's the ouput for the PowerPC host. If __GCC_HAVE_SYNC_COMPARE_AND_SWAP_8 does not appear in the output, I'd strongly suspect you're out of luck.
In Gentoo's repository, both app-benchmarks/sysbench and dev-libs/concurrencykit are keyworded only for x86 and amd64... |
