|

I used to have one of those geforce 256 DDRs, and everything was smooth n fine, but when the fan broke, I had to get me a replacement - my old voodoo3 card. The problem is that my mplayer fullscreen mode is ... very 'blocky', pixelated...kinda like it wasn't using any smoothing at all. I have tried other video outputs (-vo), but only xv and sdl will deliver my fullscreen needs. sdl gives me a little bit better picture, but there's alotta 'tearing' going on...so i'd rather use xv and get the pixelated picture. x11 output wont do fullscreen at all, not in my house.
Anyone have any experience with this combination, hints? |

I recall reading about this in a couple other threads, so you may want to try searching the forums and see if you can find your answer. I don't recall what the solution to your problem was, but I believe one person in particular said he ended up just switching to Xine, which worked perfectly. For the record, I have a Voodoo3 and also use Xine, and it works just fine. |
