I'm doing an emerge inside a docker container and I think for every package, I'll see a message like ...
Code:
>>> Emerging (17 of 33) dev-perl/Error-0.170.250::gentoo
Unable to unshare: EPERM (for FEATURES="ipc-sandbox network-sandbox pid-sandbox")

Though, as seen here, I don't believe it has anything to do with perl, rather, I get this message on any package. I don't have these FEATURES set anywhere's on my system and unsure if it's saying they need to be set.

Thoughts?

Since this is a docker container and maybe you are not thus paranoid about security what would happen if you used

Code:

FEATURES="-ipc-sandbox -network-sandbox -pid-sandbox" emerge <atom>

Please have a look at this also

The FEATURES are currently enabled, so Portage tried to use unshare. That failed, presumably because the Docker container has locked down the permissions necessary to use unshare in that way.
