This is worrying. I fear there is an issue in your installation. Does it still happen?
I am a GNUstep developer and run and test most GNUstep applications on Gentoo, both amd64 as intel x86. Hower, I do not useportage but for testing I compile all GNUstep libraries and packages myself, using:
- available gcc (currently I use gcc 10, will try soon) and thus gcc runime (not libobjc2, not clang)
- system provided libff, ICU and all dependencies
This also means I do not set any special compiler optimizations since those form portage are ignored.
It would be useful to run the gnustep base testsuite in your setup. _________________ Unix is user friendly. It is only careful selecting its friends. |
