I've read all messages in all threads but one particular feed (http://www.elpais.com/rss/feed.html?feedId=1002) shows four messages unread. I've tried ctrl-R (mark all read) and I've tried deleting the feed and re-creating it. Before deleting, there was one unread message but now there are four. I've scrolled through the list of items and there are none show in bold (i.e., unread).
So what is going on and how can I fix it? _________________ Michael Mounteney

Once I had the same, the reason was: A story with an empty title at the end of all feeds (empty title, empty author and empty date). |

Curiously, if I delete the feed and re-add it, it comes back with more invisible unread articles: I've just done that now and it's come back with five unread but unreadable. _________________ Michael Mounteney |

The answer is to quit Akregator 'cleanly' via its menu. My PC has been quite unstable recently and generally a session is ended by Firefox or Falkon running out of memory. But the latest builds are better-behaved. _________________ Michael Mounteney |
