Ah! It's really lower case.
Code: | ~ $ zgrep -i YAMA /proc/config.gz
CONFIG_LSM="lockdown,yama,loadpin,safesetid,integrity" |
Possibly more in unstable kernels.
I had enough of unstable kernels with Windoze. |

Thanks, Hu. I'm seldom a sysctl mechanic. My own setting there, which must be default for kernel 5.4.143, is:
Code: | cat /proc/sys/kernel/yama/ptrace_scope

The latter can be absent if you have chosen =n on a parent menu, which will remove all its children from the generated config file. |

Was not aware of this. I suppose I can find it by firing up "make menuconfig" and searching for YAMA |

In answer to the original question, I use LightDM with Fluxbox.
I was with Slim, I don't recall what made me switch.
LightDM works well with multi-head (as in 3, in my case) systems, as does Fluxbox. _________________ ...Lyall |
