Hi,

I have Gentoo 64 bit, systemd and plasma-meta installed on my system.

When I try to start the KSystemLog application, an icon appears on the taskbar and disappear immediately and there's no window shown. However, if I run the command from a console, the application could start and function normally.

When starting from the menu, I could not find any error from the journal.

When starting from the console, I got a lot of warnings about font configuration, then followed by these two lines.

Quote:
ksystemlog: Log manager is not yet initialized
ksystemlog: No log manager found

Hey man, have you resolved this issue? I am still having the problem.

It is very odd and it seems we are the only few people experiencing this issue.
