We are at 5.5.2 kernel at the moment, there's a working patch but the important thing is that the bug report is opened.
Let the users patch that by hand, there's no need to have that patch in the tree.
Maybe the problem will magically fix itself with 5.6.0  |

Okay, but the problem still remains, that's the point I was trying to make.
There are numerous bug reports still open with the similar problem, someone posts a patch in the report, more people reports that it's fine but it doesn't end up in the portage and the bug remains open. |
