Couple of months ago squid started polluting memory cache with store_digest. It was happening with previous versions of squid and it happens now with 4.9

When that happens, after couple of hours memory cache is full of objects like this one:

Code:
KEY A2490400000000006017000001000000
        STORE_OK      NOT_IN_MEMORY SWAPOUT_NONE PING_NONE
        SPECIAL,RELEASE_REQUEST,PRIVATE,VALIDATED
        LV:1574358377 LU:1574358377 LM:1574358377 EX:1574361977
        0 locks, 0 clients, 0 refs
        Swap Dir -1, File 0XFFFFFFFF
        GET http://proxy.domain.lan:3128/squid-internal-periodic/store_digest
        inmem_lo: 0
        inmem_hi: 8759388
        swapout: 0 bytes queued
        object_sz: 8759388

and all the other objects are slowly squeezed away from the cache.

I have already tried configurations like

Code:
acl internal_digest urlpath_regex +i /.*store_digest.*/
acl our_proxy dstdomain .domain.lan
cache deny our_proxy internal_digest

But nothing changed.

Is there any way to completely stop squid from generating digest, as it is not a part of any proxy hierarchy?
