Dear All,

Does anyone know how to change the menu font size in libreoffice? Discussions I googled seem to say
that maybe adding gtk3 to your use flag list could help........

But conventional command recommendations within libreoffice don't work it seems.

Suggestions welcome.

Many thanks for the response.

I tried this in debian and it works if you are using kde and install the
Code:
libreoffice-gtk3
package. The system settings
option in kde has a link in it to the gtk themes setting and if you chnge the font size there it cures the problem.......

I am using i3 in gentoo.

But there is supposed to be a way to turn on the gtk theme support without using kde see here:

https://faq.i3wm.org/question/115/how-to-configure-gtk-theme-support/</p>.html

there is also something called
Code:
lxappearance
that I don't know much about that might be helpful.

There must be some way of doing it.

Regards

MF

PS whereas there is no gentoo package equivalent to
Code:
libreoffice-gtk3
there is one for lxppearance :
Code:
 lxde-base/
lxappearance

Whether I can install this as a standalone package without portage trying to install the rest of lxde along with it I am not sure.
