I ran into this error message while trying to install Blender 2.8 from the CG overlay.
Code: | emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "dev-python/requests[python_targets_python3_7(-)?,-python_single_target_jython2_7(-),-python_single_target_pypy(-),-python_single_target_pypy3(-),-python_single_target_python2_7(-),-python_single_target_python3_5(-),-python_single_target_python3_6(-),python_single_target_python3_7(+)]".
(dependency required by "media-gfx/blender-9999::cg" [ebuild]) |
Would appreciate any pointer as to what might fix this.
Python 3.7 (dev-lang/python) is installed and set as the default Python intepreter.

Welcome to gentoo forums!
media-gfx/blender-9999::cg has only python3_7 support, probably you are in a stable system how python_targets_python3_7 use flag is masked.
You can use /etc/portage/profile/package.use.mask or /etc/portage/profile/use.mask to unmask python_targets_python3_7 use flag _________________ Questions are guaranteed in life; Answers aren't. |
