Hello,

The udisksd process on my system is constantly eat 20-40% cpu. I have tried upgrading to latest release "sys-fs/udisks-2.8.4" but it hasnt helpd. Is it possible to find out what udisksd is trying to do?

Thanks

I noticed udev is also eating a lot of cpu. This is what is happening,

Some sort of virtual block device is generating many events. To start, we should find what backs that block device. What is the output of find /sys/devices/virtual/block/dm-[67]/ -follow -maxdepth 2 -ls ; losetup -a?
