When I try turn on screen sharing nothing happens. In the field: networks is written:No sharing networks selected. However, when I try to run / usr / libexec / vino-server in the terminal I get this:
Code:

26/08/2019 10:40:22 Autoprobing TCP port in (all) network interface
26/08/2019 10:40:22 Listening IPv6://[::]:5900

Like everything is fine, but when I try to connect the vlc client:
Code:

26/08/2019 10:44:55 Statistics:

Why is this happening? I will only add that I used many vnc client applications and the effect is the same each time.

Hey,

how do you want to share your screen? With yourself in the LAN or via the internet? If so, you might want to use net-im/qtox, it let's you share your screen or even parts of your screen.

Best Regards,

Frink

I use LAN. I would like to control my computer using a smartphone via Remote Desktop Manager or another application of this type. Long ago, the GNOME application on Debian worked without a problem, I don't know if this is a problem in the configuration files. In any case, I can not pinpoint the problem.

Okay, you can use this app: https://f-droid.org/de/packages/android.androidVNC/

I did this in the past, but it did not work very good.

Best Regards,

Unfortunately: VNC connection failed!
Server did not offer supported security type.
And so it is with every application, and it should not be.

Sorry, I can not reproduce it here, because I have no smartphone. Maybe someone else can help you.

I think it's not your application's fault but my vino-server.
