I need old versions of Java docs and JDK [SOLVED]

Problems with emerge or ebuilds? Have a basic programming question about C, PHP, Perl, BASH or something else?

Got these messages when attempting to install Netbeans (for work purposes, you understand):

Code: Select all

These versions are so old that even Oracle don't provide them any more. Can anyone supply?

You have four choices:
  • copy the ebuild in your local overlay changing name in oracle-jdk-bin-1.8.0.221
  • create a oracle login and dowload 8u202 from archive
  • switch to dev-java/icedtea(-bin):8 or dev-java/openjdk(-bin):8
  • wait package version bump
