At first I get this error while emerging net-mail/relay-ctrl
Code:
) >compile
head: `-1' option is obsolete; use `-n 1'
Try `head --help' for more information.

chmod 755 load

  echo 'main="$1"; shift';\
  echo 'rm -f "$main"';\
  echo 'ar cr "$main" ${1+"$@"}';\
  echo 'ranlib "$main"';\
) >makelib
chmod 755 compile
cat warn-auto.sh choose.sh >choose

./compile iobuf/ibuf_getc.c

I've installed portage 2.0.49-r17, then re-emerged -r15 and after that i re-emerged coreutils so i tought the problem was solved, but no - I still get the same error. And the same error apears when I try to emerge qmail-autoresponder.

Anyone got any ideas for me? :)

TIA,

Fluff

Nice catch flufff! :) This is a bug which should be reported to Gentoo bugzilla. Fortunately the fix is fairly simply. In the relay-ctrl ebuild you'll need to add two lines:
Code:

inherit fixheadtails   # <-- add this line

src_compile() {
        cd ${S}
        ht_fix_file Makefile   # <-- add this line
        echo "${CC} ${CFLAGS}" > conf-cc
        echo "${CC}" > conf-ld
        emake || die
}

Ciao, Brandy.

It's hard to know if the error is in the computer or behind the keyboard :lol:

Everything floats on now, thanks a lot!

Now since I've always wanted to send a bug I'm going to do that unless you haven't done it already! :D

Submit the bug report; the Gentoo developers will appreciate it. :)

Ciao, Brandy.
