Hi,

the first error I get is

Just to give some context... tried to emerge mutter because I'm trying to migrate to gnome (from Plasma), and mutter is pulled in when I switch to gnome/systemd profile

Any clue?

Cheers.

Could it be related to the GCC loop optimizing flags?

What happens if you set
Code:
CFLAGS="-O2 -march=native -pipe"
# -floop-interchange -floop-strip-mine -floop-block

Does mutter emerge then?

That did the trick!! Thank you so much. Funny thing is I had been able to compile mutter some months ago without tweaking the compilation process (maybe it's related to the gcc version...). Anyway, adding "solved" on top.

Cheers.
