I'm still not generallly aware of why the Ts need the I.

Quote:
The malware had bricked around 350 devices when this reporter began investigating its operations, and the number quickly spiked to 2,000 wiped devices by the time we published, an hour later.

according to an interview with the malware's creator,
I thought 350 seemed like a low threshold for an investigation. I'm not claiming the author is at all directly involved, but that seems like beneficial timing.

But unlike the Janit0r, Light did not offer any motive for his actions, as of now. He didn't put out a manifesto like the Janit0r did after BrickerBot attacks began, to justify any of his actions.
Attention, or they'd have remained anonymous.

Oh, and I missed the part having to do with "scary plans."

++

Botnets love them, but I don't know why any consumer uses them. I think it's just technophilia.

Also, from 2017 : University attacked by its own vending machines, smart light bulbs & 5,000 IoT devices

When you consider Internet to be an Inter Space Scan then bringing more Ts to the I means better resolution. The techno sphere is definitely bigger than in the 60ties. My concern is if the probe could not alter the test subject so massively that when they arrive they will find only a dead planet...
