i made this config in nvidia-setting gui
but i can not set both cards to use "X screen 0"

it's only available to set X screen 0 for 1:0:0 card and X screen 1 to 7:0:0
But 1 need to have both cards in 1 X session by default.

4 result i have 2 screens (X screen 0) with KDE desctop and 2 screens with X black screen (X screen 1) and can move mouse from to KDE<>X

How i should to set it up to have 4 screens in one X session (X screen 0)?

did and it's not helped

also i just suddenly cleanded up /etc/X11/xorg.conf
made new one with Xorg -configure

and have no working keyboard with mouse in x session

Xorg -configure is deprecated.
nvidia-settings is no better.
First, I suggest you use xrandr to test and set up your displays.
Then, after you have correct xrandr command you can put it in your X startup file, normally ~/.xinitrc.
If you really want to set it up all in xorg.conf then you have to write it by hand.

Messire,

Jaglover is too kind with his comments on Xorg -configure and nvidia-settings.

Start off by writing an xorg.conf by hand for a single display.
When it works, add another display ... and so on until you have all four.

If you write the xory.conf by hand, you will understand how it works too.
Be sure to leave copious amounts of comments for when you want to change it in six months.

The nvidia READMDE has excellent and tborough instructions on setting up multiple displays. But, you will.have to spend some time before you get the file written correctly. Linix, amirite?

I reinstalled gentoo and now have clean system with xfce installed

I've tryed hhfeuer's config and again have only 1(1:0:0) gpu working.

And after startx and opend xfce on 2 of 4 screens i tryed to open display settings from menu and have:

I'm not there watching over your shoulder, thus can give only a few checkpoints for you.
Are you sure you rebuilt all packages which have xinerama flag.
Make sure you haven't run X as root (in particular in users home directory), always run X as user.
Make sure there is no stale ~/.nvidiarc (or whatever this file is called, created by nvidia-settings).
Is your xorg-server built with -suid (it may be a security issue, but enabling it may give you additional problems, leave it for later).

This may be a stupid question, but have you tried it without any configuration files?

Last time I did a Gentoo box with multiple monitors, it was a 2-display system and it just worked. I had to use the nvidia-settings tool to rearrange the monitor orientation, but other than that it was flawless.

I don't currently have any Gentoo systems with any sort of gui on them so I can't test, and don't have a 4-display setup anyway. So just had to ask.

Mostly this is a way for me to subscribe to an interesting thread.

Also I found what xrandr isn't working with official binary drivers, but only with opensource.

And nvidia-settings gui only gives me to check screen 0 for first card and screen 1 for second one. And it does not save it to xorg.conf, but to some another specific place looks like. But now I see at last article I can specify screen 0 to all devices manually and with Xinerama on hope solves my problem.

I believe that nvidia-settings saves the configuration in your $HOME directory. Same with Xinerama and any other control panel you might look at.

Home is the only place where user has write rights (besides tmp), how could the user specific config files be somewhere else? This is also the very reason not to run applications as root without switching the environment.

SOLVED: thanks a lot guys for advises. This working setup was made by nvidia-xconfig (cli) step by step with renaming of Identifiers at the end. We had an error within Screen[0-3] of device sections. But section ServerLayout still need Screen[0-3]. Each device should have Screen 0 (first port) and Screen 1 (second port) entry. Also if monitors have eq specs it's only 1 monitor section is needed.
