Reason: I was curious so I looked up 'sod' in urban dictionary and it came up with 'sodomite'.

After reading your report, I too was curious. I didn't use the urban dictionary and found this:
Quote:
Sod (סוֹד‬) (pronounced with a long O as in 'lore') – "secret" ("mystery") or the esoteric/mystical meaning, as given through inspiration or revelation.
"as given through inspiration or revelation" would appear to be relevant, given the subject of a cure for cancer (however unlikely such a cure might seem).

It's OTW after all so I'll default to UD, but you may be right... the user had some weird Soros posts in the past, be that as it may...

I'm rarely able to decipher what he is usually trying to communicate. At best, I might get a "big picture" sense of it.

Post: post 8307732
Reason: This whole thread is so wrong. OTW is the sicko of Gentoo Forums.

Emphasis on https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-8307766.html#8307766

I tend to disagree about the forum as a whole, but that topic certainly makes an argument for it. -- desultory

I knew it. They are on to us! We need a plan for the future! What about the children!
And do take care of your portage. Study it, learn and make conclusions.

I know these kind of errors occure quite often, none are to be hit by it but us, the users. The thing is, you need to deal with it. Not us, if we all would go silent.
You cannot depend on others if to survive a holocaust. Just think about it. There is where I am.

I think I made some sense here....lol. Do take care.

As I have understood it, cgroup is hijacked by systemD from years ago. It went so far now, it seems that not even OpenRC can go around it?
So, in conclusion, for cgroup to work in any way, you need to bend down on your knees to Lennart. I think the gentoo team is in ca-hoots with the systemD team. The team have obviously given up the openRC, SystemV thingy. Udev aswell is most sincerily involved in systemD stuff. It's an uphill battle. None to be blamed on the gentoo team (doubtful), but if there is not a fork, there is no salvation coming your way.
The fork being the actual kernel.

I wish you the best of luck.
