Hi.
I have Xfce and flipped scrolling direction on my laptop, i.e. the scrolled data follows my 2-fingers on the touch pad (AlpsPS/2 ALPS DualPoint). This works well with some apps like Seamonkey and Geany but others don't seem to follow the settings: Mousepad (GTK3), Xfce Terminal, Gedit, Evince and a few more. All of these are or seem to be linked to GTK3 so I deduce there's something that prevents GTK3 apps from using my scrolling settings.
Any idea where I need to look?
Thanks in advance. _________________ Gentoo addict: tomorrow I quit, I promise!... Just one more emerge...

Ok, my issue is still not solved but after reading about natural scrolling and synaptics touchpads in Ubuntu forums, it appears synclient bypasses all potential issues, which makes Xfce mouse settings panel completely useless especially as far as scrolling direction is concerned. So I set VertScrollDelta to a negative value (-48, precisely) and voilà. _________________ Gentoo addict: tomorrow I quit, I promise!... Just one more emerge...
