Hi,

I'm looking for Sega Model 2 open-source emulator for linux. I know only about Nebula's Model2 emulator which is for windows only (and closed source), http://nebula.emulatronia.com/descargas.php.

bigbanana69,

Get to know mame. Its not in the portage tree any more but there are several overlays.
Google says it supports the Sega Model 2.

Mame is an emulator which "supports" a lot of machines and games/roms. It's "massive and messy", but also a lot of the roms and machines don't work properly on Mame if not even not working at all. I prefer the separate emulators or the ones with just few machines/consoles support, at least for not being so messy (ex. having too many games/roms like mame so I couldn't handle with it). Usually they (the separate emulators) work excellent.

Another emulator, which is probably even heavier than Mame, is Retroarch. Retroarch is supposed to have support for even more games/roms and machines/consoles than Mame. I haven't tested it how it works, but at least it's too complex and very heavy.
