|Whenever I change the font via Applications -> Settings -> Appearance -> Fonts -> Default Font and/or Applications -> Settings -> Window Manager -> Title, the new font is only applied to applications. The panel still keeps some default font. I tried restarting and removing it, but to no avail. The weird thing is that if I change the size of the font in the above-mentioned settings, the font size in the panel is changed as well, however the font type is still the same.
Any advice on how to address this strange behaviour? Notice I have the following:
- xfce-base/xfce4-meta-4.12-r1::gentoo was built with the following:
USE="svg -minimal" ABI_X86="(64)"
- xfce-base/xfce4-session-4.12.1-r2::gentoo was built with the following:
USE="nls policykit upower xscreensaver -systemd" ABI_X86="(64)"
- xfce-base/xfce4-panel-4.12.2::gentoo was built with the following:

Laptop: HP EliteBook 850 G5 - i7-8550U - 1x16GB - Intel UHD 620 - 512 GB Samsung NVMe SSD
