|

Hi there,
I'm struggling to get the touchpad on my acer c720 chromebook to work once I start X. I've looked at the archlinux wiki and forums on posts about enabling the touchpad but I wasn't able to find anything helpful.
I saw this post on this forum, but I didn't understand what they did to solve the problem, I enabled the same kernel options that were suggested and my touchpad still doesn't appear in X.

I've seen several posts about this specific model and how to fix the touchpad, however all the links I found that once lead to solutions are dead.

Although I did try this, I couldn't get it work properly. I did a little looking at the archlinux acer c720 page and the libinput touchpad page and finally arrived at a working solution. I updated the acer c720 gentoo wiki page to include my findings.
Here's a link to that page: https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Acer_Chromebook_C720 |
