Sorry, I couldn't find anything about this already existing in the forums... but does anyone know of a utility that I can use to test the integrity of a hard drive (i.e. surface scans etc)? |

I would like the test to be filesystem-independent (i.e. I need to check drives w/ NTFS + reiserfs for physical defects). I also need to be able to check the drive even if there's no partition on it. |
