My touchpad is a synaptics touchpad so I have been using the synaptics driver instead of the libinput driver.
But, I looked at the arch wiki page on my laptop - https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/MSI_GS65 and it lists libinput as the module for my touchpad. So should I remove synaptics from my INPUT_DEVICES and add libinput instead. Or just add libinput to my INPUT_DEVICES entry.
This is my INPUT_DEVICES entry - Code: | INPUT_DEVICES="evdev synaptics" |
My init system is OpenRC if that makes a difference.
I wonder if this might be a solution to this issue - https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-1091260-highlight-.html _________________ [19:18] <@NeddySeagoon> Gentoo has an installer. Just like other distros. Go to the bathroom, look in the mirror. You will see the Gentoo installer

I was told that I could either have evdev and synaptics or just libinput. I am currently using libinput. I'll mark this solved till I face any issues. _________________ [19:18] <@NeddySeagoon> Gentoo has an installer. Just like other distros. Go to the bathroom, look in the mirror.
