What about creating a sticky thread for drinking in OTW?

I'm having Michelob Ultra at the moment, mainly because it's low-carb.

What color panties are you wearing?

I'm drinking Suntory Hibiki whisky, straight.

I love a good cup of tea. You recommend this one, it can't suck. So, thank you.

A glass of water.

Beer is just liquid bread.

First, you have just assumed my gender, and I take offense to that. Second, my panties are a very assertive pink with purple stripes and My Little Pony on the front.

Now now Muso surely you are aware that the vast majority of US citizens cannot handle actual flavor. I live in New Mexico so I see people from all over the country come here and are confronted with flavor for the first time.

True story, no exageration, I was once at a get-together in my friends home and I cannot recall the dish but his cousin was amazed and asked what seasoning he should use to get similar results back home. He was astonished that all that was used was salt. That's right this visitor from the Great Lakes area isn't even used to seasoning with salt.

Oh my god you should see people try New Mexican chile for the first time, either green or red! So much fun! They are expecting some crappy salsa and POW!

I'm not sure where wswartzendruber grew up but Idaho is not known for big flavored cuisine. To me it only follows: bland food == bland beer.

My favorite is Hefeweizen, but it's too heavy on the carbs.

Having another salvo of Michelob Ultra with a full plate of bacon.

Keto FTW!

Not sure what to do about my panties, though. :?

Change them daily. Wash the dirty ones before you run out of clean ones. It's an endless cycle.

If you leave them until they go all crunchy, it's God's way of telling you to wash 'em.

The favorite beer of naval aviators. So I'll just assume them to be pink.

For me, tonight is a bit of brandy (Hennessy XO). Not drinking much, just enjoying the flavor with some dark chocolate.

Ordered some red and gold Yorkshire tea. When they come in, I'll enjoy a nice "cuppa".

I checked the tea shop in Ala Moana, but they specialize in green teas.

during the day. coffee, water, tee (preferably sencha).
in the evening mostly beer, sometimes wine occasionally spirits.
in case of a medical condition: herbal teas infused or boiled mainly of European origin. (but sometimes import from the rain-forest of the Amazon)

My personal favorite is a Highland single malt 18 or older.

When drinking beer a really well done Barleywine (like Stone Guardian) -- but most Barleywines are pretty horrible because it seems to be a challenging style to get right. On the opposite end of the spectrum is Imperial Stout which seems to be one style no one can ruin with any amount of incompetence -- I like those too but tend to only drink them in the winter. In the summer a quality double (or imperial) IPA is my typical go-to.

Sadly I'm not drinking any of those at the moment.
