Haven't had a chance to upgrade my system since ~ Nov 2017.

Managed to piece together everything else; only one package fails to emerge:

You can also post /var/tmp/portage/x11-base/xorg-server-1.20.3/work/xorg-server-1.20.3_build/config.log with wgetpaste?
You installed x11-base/xorg-proto-2018.4 package?
