ZFS is built in the kernel and I don't want native zfs encryption, but luks. I have crypt_root and real_root set in cmdline, but if I exclude initramfs I get kernel panic, saying it couldn't find rootfs. I guess, it's because the kernel doesn't know about the LUKS partition, so is there any way to build LUKS into the kernel? |

satanail,
You can build the initrd into the kernel but as LUKS is a userspace tool, the real answer is no. _________________ Regards,
