Hello!
I'm trying to follow the guides:
https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Bluetooth
https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Bluetooth_Headset
But I get some errors which I am not sure how to solve.
Bluetooth should be working to some extent since I am able to connect and use a bt keyboard.
The device I am trying to connect:
Code: | [bluetooth]# info 08:EB:ED:30:02:2E
Device 08:EB:ED:30:02:2E (public)
Name: SoundCore 2

I successfully Paired with the device and trusted it. But when I try to connect I get an error.
In bluetoothctl: Code: | [bluetooth]# connect 08:EB:ED:30:02:2E
Attempting to connect to 08:EB:ED:30:02:2E
Failed to connect: org.bluez.Error.Failed |
In blueman-manager: Code: | Connection Failed: Protocol not available |
I also probably need some help configuring ALSA but that is a later problem I can try to solve once it actually connects.
I am thankful for all the help I can get! |

I think I solved it.
It worked if I started bluealsa and then tried to connect. I don't think the guide reflects this. Maybe it should be added to the guide?
I will try to get alsa configured so that I can verify that it works. |
