Hi all,
I'm having issues with zoneminder once again, sometime ago it just stopped showing images recording, showing stills, everything, the log doesn't help much, indicates a issue with /dev/shm (see below), but I think it isn't.
I've already removed and re-emerged everything, drop the database and build it again, removed the cameras and configured again, pretty much everything short of formating and stating from zero, then I noticed that mariadb was not on the version that I left it last time, I had problems before with anything above 10.1.31-r1, so I masked versions above it, but 10.1.31-r1 was removed from portage and it automatically emerged version 10.0.35-r2. Is there anyway for me to get back version 10.1.31-r1 for testing? Does anyone experienced a similar issue?
Also, zoneminder in portage seems abandoned, there is only one version there (1.30.4) which was released back in May 2017, they are currently in version 1.32.2.

You might get better results by posting on the zoneminder fora (I have, and there are other gentoo users there). There were some database breakages in 1.32.? IIRC that I read about in the forum.
Here's an ebuild you might find useful that I modified from another I found here in the forums:

This will build from git. I've used it for several upgrades so far (I'm on 1.31.1, and came from 1.28.?).
