|
|
Currently I'm having issues with my soundcard (have been trying to get the issue sorted for the past week) and so I have resorted to streaming audio over my network to my laptop for the meantime. But there is a 15 second delay. Both the desktop and laptop are connected to my network via ethernet, so I don't think network speed is an issue, and I can't seem to find anybody else with this issue online. I'm using the desktop for gaming so the audio has to be in real time. |

Post the output of Code: | pactl list | perl -ne 'print if /^(Sink|Source|Card)/../^$/' |
and any changes you've made to the default.pa file. |

After restarting my PC the delay seems to have reduced from 15 seconds to about 1 second which is good |

It looks like you're using RTP there... you might have better results with the native tunnel module. There's no need to restart the entire PC, killing and restarting the pulseaudio process should be enough. |

Alright I'll try that out soon, I'm not currently at my PC, but when I am I'll try that to see if it works. |
