Do you get this at the end of the ebuild?
Code: | * QA Notice: Package triggers severe warnings which indicate that it
* may exhibit random runtime failures.

2.25 hours vs a bit less than 2 on my one lung Athlon II running Win 7. But, as you say that was build 27.9.x
Thank you for all the effort! I hope it was worth it. The binary installs lickety-split. Of course, all the binary has to do is download the tarball, extract it and copy the extracted files.
EDIT:
Yeah, it's faster than the binary. I compiled with -official-branding so it has the New Moon icon and "New Moon" in the help. That way I can keep track of which one I'm running.
Forgot all about /etc/portage.env. Also editted other packages that were "notmpfs". I had set that before upgrading from 8G to 16G. 4G would be plenty for ordinary use, but portage needs the extra memory for some packages. |

Yeah, the message is there for me too. Haven't had a problem ... yet.
Glad you got it working. _________________ PRIME x570-pro, 3700x, 6.1 zen kernel
