|
|
Hi
I am unable to get full resolution using QXL driver in my Gentoo guest VM. When X starts it is using 1024x768, which is much smaller than the window size.
"xrandr --auto" also has no effect.
I have some logs below:
Xorg.log: https://pastebin.com/3n5hAsJE
xrandr: https://pastebin.com/BMfHnnTB
equery xorg-drivers: https://pastebin.com/dc3eVLt3
lsmod
Code: | Module Size Used by
uinput 20480 0
qxl 73728 2 |
Host:
Fedora 28
Qemu 2.11.2
Libvirt config: https://pastebin.com/Bt3xq2Wn
No difference running with minimal qemu command line.
Any help greatly appreciated.
EDIT:
I recompiled the kernel with genkernel, and realized I forgot to add my user to the "video" group, which I've now done and it has helped a lot. However the resolution remains the same. I've updated the logs.
There is a line in the new Xorg.log:
Code: | [ 250.101] (II) [KMS] drm report modesetting isn't supported. |
Could it be the cause? |
