This is my first attempt ever to install Gentoo and I seem to be stuck before I even start.
I downloaded Minimal Installation CD iso and DD'ed it on a usb stick.
I reboot. Everything goes fine as far as booting is concerned except the fact that
the text on my screen is a mess. Scrambled text across 1/3 of the top of my screen.

How can I fix this?
I'm trying to install on a Dell Inspiron 17R laptop with switchable graphics. .

| Can you try another UDB/CD/DVD iso like SystemrescueCD or another Linux Distro Iso with life mode (like Ubuntu) ? |

Hello. I booted with legacy bios and everything seems fine. Except the fact that I don't know what I'm doing. Heh
So I wonder, if I continue the installation in this mode, will I be able to boot using eif after I'm done?
I'm currently using rEFIned to boot my windows and arch installation so having gento in that list was my goal.

Going in bios and enabling legacy boot seems to have done the trick. I can now boot in both legacy and efi mode.
